Prior to the invention of color film by George Eastman in the 1930’s, photographers added color to their black and white prints by selectively hand-coloring the images they produced.
We are pleased to revive this art through a series of workshops conducted by Ignacio de Juana, who is also famously known as “The Colorist”. Each participant will learn the technique using liquid watercolour and receive a 8″ x 10″ giclee print made on ILFORD’s fine art paper. Colouring materials will be provided during the workshop. The maximum class size per session is 8 pax.
This workshop will be conducted at ILFORD Galerie MY.
